History

InformEd was formed in 1980 under the Societies Act of British Columbia. The five founding members were: Garry Gaudet of what was then Okanagan College (now Okanagan University College), Chris Holt of what was then East Kootenay Community College (now College of the Rockies), Beverly Green of Capilano College, Marianne Armishaw (now van Toor) of what was then Malaspina College (now Malaspina University College), and John Lund, also of Malaspina.
