About Us

InformEd is the association of communications professionals of BC's post-secondary institutions. We perform the marketing, communications and public relations functions that keep students coming to our institutions. It is our job to inform the public about the functions, goals, and successes of our institutions.

Some of our key responsibilities include:

• marketing and advertising of programs and services
• student recruitment and enrollment management
• communicating to our community members about our institutions
• internal employee relations and communications
• plan, organize and staff exhibits at trade shows
• develop promotional and communication materials and publications
• fundraising and development for our institutions
• and a host of tasks that fall into the category of "public relations"

We usually meet two or three times a year to exchange strategies and information on how we can better serve our diverse publics and the marketing and communications functions at our post-secondary institutions.
